For more than 110 years, Sanofi has invested in Canada, building world-class expertise in vaccine manufacturing, research and innovation.
Today, we are taking that commitment further with our new state-of-the-art influenza vaccine manufacturing facility in Toronto.
Part of a $925 million investment — the largest investment in Canadian biomanufacturing — the facility represents an important step toward establishing end-to-end influenza vaccine manufacturing capacity in Canada, while strengthening the country’s pandemic preparedness and domestic vaccine supply.
The investment will also create approximately 300 highly skilled jobs in production, quality and skilled trades, helping strengthen Canada’s life sciences talent and advanced manufacturing ecosystem.
