Ajaypal was appointed Head of Vaccines at Sanofi Healthcare India Private Limited (SHIPL) in August 2026.

Ajaypal leads the strategy and operations for Sanofi’s Vaccines portfolio in India. With a strong understanding of local business environments and extensive launch experience in vaccines, he is uniquely positioned to drive meaningful impact in creating and maintaining healthy communities. 

Ajaypal brings over 15 years of distinguished pharmaceutical commercial leadership across General Medicines and Vaccines, with expertise spanning both paediatric and adult immunization. Most recently, he served as Interim Business Unit Head at Takeda, leading launch preparedness for India's first dengue vaccine. Previously, he was Business Head at GSK for Shingles vaccine, where he pioneered the adult vaccines market in India and demonstrated exceptional launch excellence and Go-To-Market strategy execution. 

Ajaypal holds an MBA in Pharmaceutical Management from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER) and Bachelors in Pharmaceutical Science from the Gujarat University.
