Sudipta Chakraborty

Sudipta joined Sanofi in June 2025 as Head of Legal for India.

She brings in nearly two decades of legal experience across industries and has built and scaled large legal, compliance and taxation teams. She has worked across several geographies including APAC, China, Germany and USA.

Most recently, she was working with the Aditya Birla Group as Vice President - Group Legal & Compliance.

Sudipta has successfully led several high impact Risk, Governance & Compliance projects, strategic restructuring and mergers and acquisitions across APAC region, Intellectual Property disputes and strategy and launch of new businesses.

Sudipta holds a BA LLB (Hons) degree from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru.
