Transforming Diabetes Management

The impact of diabetes

The latest IDF Diabetes Atlas [1] (10th edition) estimates that 74 million Indians between the ages of 20 and 79 years are living with diabetes. This ratio is likely to impose an even higher burden on India’s healthcare system, if diabetes is not treated and managed effectively. The reason for this burden is the inevitable increase in tertiary complications linked to uncontrolled and poorly treated diabetes. These complications take a heavy physical, mental and financial toll on the patients and the families. Herein, insulin plays a critical role in the treatment regimen of many patients with type 2 diabetes and even for those with type 1 diabetes.

That’s where we come in!

Presenting…Saath7, Sanofi’s Patient Support Program for people living with diabetes.
