Under his leadership, François-Xavier Roger’s team manages financial risk and capital allocation to create value and growth for Sanofi.

François-Xavier joined Sanofi from Nestlé where he was CFO for nearly 9 years. Before Nestlé, he was CFO of Takeda Pharmaceuticals, based in Japan. He began his career in pharma, at Roussel, Hoechst and Aventis where he served in various roles and countries for 14 years. He also worked at Danone from 2000 to 2008 in different Finance roles and was CFO of Millicom, a NASDAQ listed, global mobile phone operator from 2008 to 2013. He has lived and worked in Europe, the United States, Asia, Africa and Latin America.

François-Xavier holds an MBA from Ohio State University in the US and a Major in Accounting from Audencia Business School in France.
