Jamie Haney leads the Legal, Ethics, and Business Integrity and Global Security (LEBI & GS) Team. She is a passionate people leader with a demonstrated track record of developing teams to drive organizational mission and objectives.
Jamie's career in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors spans over 25 years across multiple geographies. Before being appointed Executive Vice President, General Counsel, she served as General Counsel North America and Head of Legal Specialty Care GBU since September 2022, where she was a member of both the LEBI & GS Leadership Team and the Specialty Care GBU Leadership Team.
Jamie joined Sanofi from Novo Nordisk, where she was Corporate Vice President and General Counsel for North America since 2020. Prior to that, she spent twelve years with Eli Lilly & Company in legal roles of increasing responsibility, including Counsel in Lilly Oncology, Assistant Corporate Secretary (Corporate Securities & Antitrust Counsel), and General Counsel for Lilly Diabetes (reporting to the Group General Counsel). She also held commercial roles where she led a US national team of regional sales managers responsible for delivering formulary access and served as Head of the Swiss affiliate of Eli Lilly based in Geneva. Jamie started her career as a litigator at Sidley Austin in Chicago, Illinois.
A US citizen raised in Kenya, Jamie brings a global perspective shaped by her multicultural background. She holds a law degree from DePaul University College of Law as well as a B.A. in English and a minor in Spanish from Purdue University.
When she is not working, Jamie enjoys spending time with her husband, their three kids, and their French bulldog. She is passionate about all things outdoors, including running, hiking, and skiing.
