Sanofi has been ranked among the top three most responsible pharma companies by the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI). It is included in both DJSI World Index and DJSI Europe Index, having been recognized for its performance for the 14th consecutive year.
For the 2020 Edition, Sanofi ranked best in class in the following categories:
- Human Rights, Social Reporting and Environmental Reporting highlighting our transparency commitments and comprehensive reporting on Environmental, Social and Governance topics;
- Innovation management, recognizing the strength and performance of our R&D engine;
- Health outcome contribution and impact valuation, underlining our efforts to measure the impact of our actions and contributions (through our contribution to the Access Accelerated programs, such as the KiDS program which improves diabetes awareness in schools, among others).
“We are proud to maintain a leading position among pharma companies,” said Laurent Lhopitallier, Head of CSR Coordination and Reporting. “This recognition is a testimony of our strong commitment to CSR. It also demonstrates the strength of our foundations as we roll out our ambitious new commitments to society.”
Created jointly by S&P Dow Jones Indices and RobecoSAM, the DJSI evaluates companies’ sustainable business practices, based on economic, environmental and social performance.
