In 2020 we are particularly focusing on five priority areas: 1) disability, 2) LGBT, 3) gender balance, 4) working across cultures, generations and backgrounds, and 5) an inclusive work environment.
The Inclusion & Diversity network is already taking action across the world. In Africa, the program “Diversity Shines in Africa” is creating guidelines, embracing different ways of working and highlighting talents from various cultures across the continent. Working across generations is the focus in China, where Sanofi is encouraging generations to work together through an innovation competition on e-health that encourages millennials to share their digital talents. LATAM is also supporting Sanofi’s Global Flexible Work Culture with a Gender Neutral benefits policy that aims to increase the quality of life and the personal well-being of all employees. France is part of the movement too as it works to promote the employment and the inclusion of disabled people through awareness, training and an engagement campaign.
