United Nations Human Rights

Human rights are a common theme in all UN policies and programs in key areas of peace and security, development, humanitarian assistance, as well as economic and social affairs. Some examples include the right to development, which is at the core of the Sustainable Development Goals; the right to food, championed by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, labor rights, defined and protected by the International Labor Organization, gender equality, promulgated by UN Women, and the rights of children, indigenous peoples, and disabled persons.

The Forum engages the foremost political, business, cultural and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.

Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society

The Women's Forum for the Economy and society is a leading platform that highlights women's voices and perspectives on pressing global issues ranging from sustainable development and economy to culture and media. Headquartered in Paris, France, with global influence, the Women's Forum for the Economy & Society shows a commitment to women's leadership and progress throughout the year with a range of Initiatives in partnership with businesses, cultural and media leaders and nongovernmental organizations.

One Young World

One Young World is the first global forum for young leaders. It is both a platform and a network which enables young people to drive tangible positive change. More countries are represented at the annual One Young World Summit than at any other non-governmental event. Delegates participate in four transformative days of speeches, panels, networking and workshop. It has become an integral part of many global businesses.

The Valuable 500

The Valuable 500 is a business-to-business initiative catalyzing the influence of large private sector corporations in national and international markets.

By joining The Valuable 500, Sanofi agrees to:

  • Table disability on our board agenda from 2020.
  • Make ONE firm commitment to action by January 2021.
  • Share the company’s commitment to The Valuable 500 internally and externally.

Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association

The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association is a global nonprofit organization comprised of individuals and organizations from across the healthcare industry committed to:

  • achieving gender parity in leadership positions
  • facilitating career and business connections
  • providing effective practices that enable organizations to realize the full potential of their female talent

The HBA accomplishes its mission through strong business networks, education, an active and engaged community and global recognition of outstanding individuals and companies advancing gender parity in the workplace.

International Dual Career Network (IDCN)

International Dual Career Network (IDCN) helps to make dual career assignments a success. IDCN is an association of international organizations and corporations facilitating the integration of partners of employees who are on an international assignment to help them with their job search through awareness, guidance, and professional networking.

UN Free & Equal

United Nations Free & Equal is a global public information campaign led by the United Nations Human Rights Office. The campaign advances equal rights and fair treatment for lesbian, gay, bi, trans and intersex (LGBTI) individuals around the world, and is actualized in association with UN offices, common society associations and, in certain countries, national and civil specialists.

UN Women

UN Women is the United Nations entity dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women. A global champion for women and girls, UN Women was established to accelerate progress on meeting their needs worldwide.

UN Women supports UN member states as they set global standards for achieving gender equality and works with governments and civil society to design laws, policies, programs and services needed to ensure that the standards are effectively implemented and truly benefit women and girls worldwide.
