Sanofi Consumer Healthcare’s B Corp Journey

What Is a B Corp?

B Corp is an international certification awarded to for-profit companies who achieve high standards of social & environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. It is one of the most well-respected – not to mention difficult – certifications for a company to earn. And a big step on our journey to contribute towards a healthier planet and a healthier society. B Corp measures what matters using the B Impact Assessment tool which covers five major areas: governance, workers, environment, customers and community.

Becoming B Corp certified in many regions across the world including North America, Hispanic Latin America, Western Europe (excluding France), Italy and Germany, means Sanofi Consumer Healthcare is becoming part of a global community that’s transforming business into a force for good.

B Corp Certification Demonstrates Our Brands’ Commitment to Better Health

As a brand-led Consumer Healthcare company, we’re working to build a healthier future by helping people take care of themselves through our consumer-inspired, science-based products.

This certification recognizes our commitment to increase our business and products’ positive impact on both people and the planet. To learn more about our sustainability strategy and concrete actions.

Our B Corp Journey

We’re incredibly proud that in July 2023, Sanofi Consumer Healthcare North America became the first large pure Consumer Healthcare business to become a certified B Corp.

In early 2024, Sanofi Consumer Healthcare announced three more B Corp certifications independently in: Italy, Germany and Hispanic Latin America. In June 2024, Sanofi Consumer Healthcare Western Europe (excluding France) also certified as a B Corp. Italy and Germany are now part of the Western Europe certification.

We are working towards certifying all Sanofi Consumer Healthcare entities globally as the B Corp assessment now forms an integral part of our business transformation roadmap.

B Corp certification is not an end goal in itself, but a milestone on our journey of continuous improvement to contribute towards a healthier planet and healthier society.
